Shay Hatton

Hi, I'm Shay, I have been part of our event planning team since 2022 helping bring you last year's event, and my community and team focus is on Connections and Alignment.

  I feel how important the energy our vibrant and growing community is to the planet at this time and I'm all about getting that energy and vision out for all to see. I have mainly focused on keeping our IG fun and up to date, and developing this website!

  When I'm not working on this passion project I am also your friendly neighbourhood Realtor, best friend to my Golden Retriever Quinton, expert giggler and master of silly suggestions, Bioenergetic and Reiki Violet Flame and Karuna Ki LvII Practitioner,  Medicine Woman, Channel of Ancient Cosmic and Sacred Earth Energies, Sun worshipper, spider grandma,  Journey and Light Language Weaver, horrible yet enthusiastic dancer and hopefully your new (slightly strange) friend!

Your friendly, liminal space tour guide! 
I currently live in Southern Alberta, Canada 🍁 where I live with my family and two furbabies 🐱 We like to spend our time resting outside in the sunshine, jamming out to music, dancing, chatting with friends online, drawing/ painting, and crafting (or what I like to call, “gluing shit to shit!”). I am an experienced Holistic Nondual Counsellor, Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist, Passionate Psychonaut, Gnostic, Late Diagnosed Neurodivergent, Community Creatrix, and Chronic Illness Warrior!
I had my spiritual awakening in 2012 (courtesy of Shambhala Music Festival) and it has been deepening ever since. In late 2019, I was thrust into a massive Dark Night of the Soul experience as I became incapacitated by endometriosis and adenomyosis. This experience led to a deeper, “ second awakening” in 2020 when (synchronistically, of course) I stumbled across Jessa Reed’s podcast, Soberish. I was quickly drawn to her community and met a few other incredibly inspiring Aliens there and became involved in the planning of last year’s inaugural event, Alien School Field Trip. 

Stefania Farmer

Hello I am Stefania, a lover of the Earth and a lifelong hugger of trees. Watching the cycles of nature has taught me a lot about my place on this beautiful sphere and what truly matters to me, this is reflected in my passion for community and art.

I believe in a future where we find harmony with the earth and one another, healing our landscapes and communities together one piece at a time.

Happy to be here working to manifest that future with you all.

Kristin Holmes

Hello! I’m Kristin. Here for the party after a ten year nap, I bring 25 years of nonprofit community building and event planning skills to the interplanetary buffet. I enjoy my life with my fur babies and husband near Asheville, NC, where I garden, hike, dig for crystals, and dream of ways to connect with my newfound community of friends. Aliesha Hunter

Hi there, I'm Aliesha and I'm your new friend. No pressure, just wanted to put the invitation out there. 

The Hot Alien Summer Camp planning crew are some very loving and dedicated people. It has been my honour to work on preparations for both the 2022 and 2023 events. I am thrilled that I will be in attendance this year. 

I'm someone who found their way to this tribe after growing up in a very strict Mormon environment. I'm a big fan of "Mormon and the Meth-head"- I was coming to the recognition that I grew up in a cult when I found the podcast at the end of 2018. 

Nowadays I am operating from a much more paradoxical viewpoint. Holding lots of space for various beliefs/understandings/perspectives where I can and working to unwind the programming I no longer have any need or desire for. 

Astrologically I'm a Gemini Sun, Leo Moon and Cancer rising. In Human Design I'm a 6/2 Projector under the left angle cross of confrontation. Definitely on "the spectrum" but no formal diagnosis for that. 

I have so much love for my fellow "Aliens" and the work we are doing to build communities of substance.  I also refuse to be too serious. 

Jeff Williams

Hello, everyone! I'm Jeff Williams, an IT professional, a dedicated volunteer for the 2023 Hot Alien Summer Camp, and a timeless wizard-alchemist here on Earth with a mission to transmute fear into love! With a passion for making event dreams a reality, I love working closely with the community to create memorable experiences and build connections that will last a lifetime. 

When I'm not immersed in the world of technology or organizing projects, you can find me in my lab concocting spell jars for my side business, The Naptown Mystic. It's my way of infusing a touch of enchantment into our lives. Through the power of positive energy, I believe we can bring about transformation and create a more loving world.

Hi! I’m Elia! I’ve tried and worn many hats over the years that brought me to exactly where I am today. Dancer, home chef, textile artist, musician, office administrator, yoga teacher, barista, student, raver, fantasy novel lover, dreamer, manifester, traveler. Ever a weirdo, I was surprised to find a community that would embrace me for exactly who I am - all the dark and all the light. Looking forward to enjoying a weekend of play, curiosity, relaxation, letting go, and a lot of laughter together!

Rick Plautz

Rick Plautz has a tattoo of the Pleiades. In the 3D world, he works at a Fortune 50 bank as a motion designer. He has two kids and successfully co-parents with his ex.

Ask Rick about: 9/11, JFK, Aliens, UFOs, parasites, the nervous system, conspiracy theories, and being 'that guy' at Thanksgiving in 2012 talking about The Mayan Calendar.

Me and Tiff brainstormed this way back in 2021, but she took the baton and birthed it, carrying all of us along with it into reality.
